Beneteau Swift Trawler 34 Sea Trial

Early Sunday morning after the Trawler Fest Fort Lauderdale is over we are asked to do a Sea Trial on the Beneteau Swift Trawler 34. A sunny January Sunday brings out every type of boater so we must navigate carefully between the cruise liners in port and the charter boats which are all headed out to sea. This sweet new swift trawler can easily handle the task.

We cruise through Port Everglades into the Atlantic Ocean and are greeted by a beautiful sunrise and calm seas. We run through our speed drills, emergency back downs, man overboard manuvers using both bow and stern thrusters and really have some fun on this new addition to the Beneteau Trawler family. Great boat for looping and economical in marinas because of its size.

All good things must come to a close so we begin our return to the Bahia Mar Marina. Docking is effortless against the bulkhead slip with bow and stern thrusters and full walk around decks for ease of line handling. This couple is impressed!

Next stop for us is aboard the Beneteau Swift Trawler 52 where we welcome 4 couples for another “Building Cruising Confidence as a Couple” TrawlerFest University course. Living the Dream!
